PASDEC incorporated to up-grade dimensional stone industry,promote value addition and develop domestic and international markets by introducing moder know-how and equipment.

Its Board of Director includes 2/3rd members from private sector and 1/3rd from public sector.

10 model quarries of marble and granite will be developed by engaging foreign experts/ quarry masters.Detailed prospecting and technical feasibility of the mines will also be developed.

A machinery Pool Project is being set up by the company at Nowshehra/Risalpur and Khuzdar for extraction of the raw material (marble & granite) and its processing on modern lines to finished products to assist local and export  markets.

A 300 acres of land is being allocated by the Government of Sindh at Hub River Road to establish Marble city.Marble cities would also be set up on 300 acre land acquired at FATA and on 100 acre land acquired at Risalpur.

20 acres land has been allotted by LIEDA in Marble City,Gidani for the Common Facility & Training Center.The process of machinery procurement for CFTC has been initiated.
