Furniture Pakistan , a sector development company has been formed,the Board of Director of which has majority members from private sector.The company will coordinate with all the stakeholders and implement the strategy to upgrade the furniture industry of Pakistan thus helping to enhance the export of furniture.

Two Common Facility Training & Manufacture centres (CFTMCs) at Chiniot and Peshawer will be established which will impart training in furniture manufacturing on advanced pattern.Moreover ,75 Solar Kilning Facilities will be created in the major furniture clusters throughout the country for dying the wood.Futhermore,participation of the trade delegations in a number of intertional exhibitions/trade fairs will be arranged to introduce the Pakistani furniture and enhance its export.
