Karachi Tools,Dies and Moulds Centre already established is providing state of the art design, consultancy,training and manufacturing facilities in the field of Tools,Dies and Moulds.

The main objective of KTDMC is to enhance the quality of design,engineering and manufacturing of dies and moulds; especially plastic and polymer moulds,sheets metal dies,nonferrous pressure die,casting dies and tooling through latest technologies including computer aided design/ manufacturing (CAD/CAM) and computer aided engineering (CAE).Such tools are used fir the manufacture of surgical goods,plastic injection moulded components,consumer electronics,home appliances and particularly automotive parts.This is important in particular to the SMEs,which cannot afford investments associated with such facilities.

KTDMC has got state of the art CAD/CAM and CNC machining facilities.The facilities include CNC machining centres,turning centre,EDMs & Wire cuts, conventional machines and other supporting machine equipment.

The Centre will help in substituting import of dies & moulds with enhanced local production and will increase the share of engineering sector in country’s exports.
